Hello Neighbors! Reminder that our annual HOA Community Meeting is THIS SUNDAY, March 8th @ 3PM at the neighborhood pond.
If you are unable to attend, please fill out the proxy form (copies were sent with the newsletter last month or ask sugarmilltallahassee@gmail for a copy) and send it to the meeting with a neighbor or an HOA member. This will ensure we meet our quorum.

Hi neighbors! The HOA has recently approved and installed an intricate system to clean up and revitalize our dying neighborhood pond. Due to the delicate nature of this system & the importance of saving our pond before its oxygen levels deplete to an irreparable level, we are asking all neighbors to withhold from fishing for the time being. Fishing lines and hooks can cause costly damage to the installed cleaning system. Should you see anyone fishing at our gazebo or banks along the pond, please ask them to refrain from doing so or notify a board member as soon as possible. We thank you for your adherence to this request!

Be advised:
Facebook post on June 19th, 2019 on Sugar Mill Neighbors:
Last night after midnight in The Preserve at Mahan (where Governor’s Charter is located), a young kid rang a doorbell repeatedly. When the homeowners answered, the kid said he was lost & needed money. When the homeowners said no, an older man appeared and showed a gun. No one was harmed & TPD is still investigating.
Should your doorbell ring during the night, it is strongly recommended that you not open the door and instead call the police to let them investigate.

FYI neighbors: Last night (Tuesday) multiple cars were burglarized and two cars were stolen from the Benjamin’s Run & Easton Glen neighborhoods. The common theme with all these instances was that all the cars were unlocked. PLEASE remember to lock your cars and do not leave any valuables in your vehicles overnight.
Remain vigilant.

All HOA Members,
The Tallahassee Police Speed Trailer was placed on Smoke Rise Lane today and will be at this location for a few weeks. I’ll then have it moved over to Oaks Edge Road for a couple of weeks. The Tallahassee Police Traffic Motor Squad will then be in the neighborhood to enforce the speeding and running of stop signs. This was requested by several homeowners at the Annual HOA Meeting in March 2018.
